In 2002, we initiated our Capital Campaign with the hiring of an Executive Director and a $15 million Challenge Goal. The Capital Campaign was kicked off with a lead gift from Ford Motor Company / Texas Ford Dealers of $1.3 million presented during the 74th Annual Texas FFA Convention in Fort Worth in July 2002. In July 2005, in conjunction with the 77th Annual Texas FFA Convention in Lubbock , we announced that we had raised over $4.2 million and had exceeded our three-year Victory Goal. Our partners and supporters—individuals, corporations, and organizations—make this type of success a reality. We continue to strive towards the $15 million Challenge Goal and ask for your help in endowing the future of the Texas FFA.

What is Agricultural Education?

Agriculture, once viewed narrowly through agricultural production concepts, now encompasses science, communications, business, leadership, and technology through 57 course offerings - covering the diversity of our Texas agriculture. Our Texas agriculture science teachers dedicate themselves to educating young people in diverse agricultural fields both through curriculum and hands-on instruction. Agricultural education is a way to broaden the students' horizons and prepare them for the future.

Why Should You Invest?

Through the years we have enjoyed tremendous growth with thousands of students benefiting from FFA programs. Boasting agricultural education student enrollment figures of more than 100,000, and Texas FFA high school membership of more than 61,000, the agricultural education program in Texas has maintained its popularity through a progressive approach to curriculum, competition, and recognition.

The Texas FFA Alumni Association and the Texas Young Farmers has also grown significantly over the years. The Vocational Agriculture Science Teachers Association remains vigorous in their commitment to superior programs in agriculture, character education, and leadership training.

The growth of the Texas FFA brings with it new programming challenges and needs, and the Foundation is dedicated to endowing Texas FFA programming for perpetuity. But we can't do it alone. The Foundation's efforts multiply each time an individual remembers the manner in which the FFA touched his or her life, but more importantly, recognizes the rich potential of this organization. Each contributor allows the Foundation to grow increasingly stronger in its inherent ability to build a future for Texas FFA members through programming. The Texas FFA Foundation is committed to establishing partnerships with individuals, companies, and organizations.

The Foundation has created a number of investment opportunities for those individuals who wish to support us in our "mission that matters"…the Texas FFA.
