PROFICIENCY
The Agricultural Proficiency Awards program encourages members to set personal goals and learn practical skills. There are 51 proficiency award areas that individuals can apply for, ranging from Agricultural Communications to Wildlife Production and Management. All state winners are recognized during Texas FFA Convention on stage and presented with a $1,000 scholarship and plaque.
Members must submit an application and go through an interview process at the area level in order to be selected for Texas FFA scholarships. Each area association submits scholarship finalists to the state scholarship committee for final scholarship application review and interview.
