RICHARD WALLRATH EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION
Richard "Dick" Wallrath has invested more than $1.5 million in the young people of the Texas FFA to date. This level of giving makes him the all-time largest donor in the 77-year history of the Texas FFA. His name will echo in perpetuity, and eternity, thanks to his generosity. Many communities, the Lone Star State, and this country will be a better place to live, work and raise our families as a result of his support and investment in the young people of Texas.
Established in 2006 by the Dick Wallrath Educational Organization, seventy-one $10,000 scholarships are given to Texas FFA members who excel in academics. Recipients are selected based on academic performance and active FFA involvement.
Members must submit an application and go through an interview process at the area level in order to be selected for Texas FFA scholarships. Each area association submits scholarship finalists to the state scholarship committee for final scholarship application review and interview.
To find out more about applying for an academic scholarship, contact Alexandra Nagy at the Texas FFA. Please contact your local FFA advisor to determine local deadlines for submitting an application for the Texas FFA scholarships.
